I got to meet Andy Roddick today at a Babolat promotion at Golfsmith. I wouldn’t say I’m a huge Andy Roddick fan, but you can’t diss a local athlete and America’s #1 tennis player. The best part (besides getting an autograph and a picture with Andy) was watching his serve demo. It was pretty sick. He said that his fastest serve clocked was at 155mph!! Wow. I’ve been pretty busy lately helping out Lawrence & Judy with their house. Lots of painting, some flooring work, and lots of miscellaneous stuff here and there.

Now as this weekend approaches, it’s time to start packing and get ready for moving myself to another apartment.

Congratulations to my alma mater for winning the National Championship.

Throughout the night, many people got the credit they deserve for our performance: Vince Young, Mack Brown, Gene Chizik, Michael Huff, and so on… But there’s one name that has been left out: Greg Davis. I remember a few years ago, we were all calling him out and asking him to get booted. But words simply can’t describe the job that he did this season, especially yesterday.

I crossed an item off of the “things to do before I die” list on Saturday.
